Caged bird
Saphire Sep 2015
A bird in the cage, try to free herself,
screaming but to the ears, melody of her life.
Writhing for liberty, every wish echoing loud,
flutter fervently to break the iron bars !

In those little eyes, she dreams of
bathing in the golden rays, being wild and free.
Flapping her wings, spinning and tossing,
dancing with the wind and soaring to the endless sky.

But trapped inside the cage,
with those tied legs and crippled wings,
and the screams of her agony,
melancholy, we listen as sweet melody.

All the fools, fail to understand,
for her wings are meant to fly !

One big tree
Saphire Sep 2015
Through the eyes of a child we can see,
this whole big world as a single tree.

Without the wish for heaven,
and away from the hands of Satan.

Away from caste, creed or religion,
and no one left with the feeling of negligence.

Hearts filled with hope and innocence,
away from any inference.

Through those small eyes we can see,
this whole big world as one single trees.
The beauty in a child's eyes

Butterfly
Saphire Sep 2015
A butterfly so beautiful n vibrant,
Bringing the smile on her beholders lips.

Flying so effortless... Jumping from one flower to another,
Aware of the short life, Yet..
Rejoicing and enjoying the life bestowered By her Creator.

Born without wings, As a creature everyone considered not pleasent to their eyes,
But once awake from her dormant sleep, This timeless beautys flight kept everyone mesmerized.

Never forgetting her origin, yet accepting the very change,
Playing with the wind, she moves so elegantly from one flower to another.

In the arms of death
Saphire Sep 2015
Let me rest in the arms of slumber,
For my palanquin has arrived.

Decorated with white lilies,
Let it be carried by its bearers.

Today I'm the bride and my groom is Patiently waiting,
I can see him smile.

In his mysterious smile, I know
I've lived a beautiful life.
This is how I see death..  The most beautiful truth
