In the day we're living in, it's important to hold your peace.  Instead of adding fuel to the fire, it's best to let it cease.
Angry words can make one mad, it's best to change your tune.  If you feel your life is in danger, speak a pleasant word real soon.
Many people are in the grave, because of running their lips.  They provoked someone to anger, causing them to flip.
Don't always say what's on your mind; try to follow after peace.  If there is love in your heart, this is the time to have it released.
If you follow what is said, listen to this advice.  A bad situation can be turned around, it just may save your life.

I remember you mother when I was a child.  You would hold my hand and share your wonderful smile.
You would walk with me, to experience the fresh air.  You were the mother, to show me that you care.
I remember you mother, tucking me in the bed at night.  Oh, how I missed you, after turning out the light.
You were up, at the crack of day, making sure I had a place to sit at the table, before bowing my head to pray.
I remember you being the best mother, in the whole wide world.  You also had compassion, for other boys and girls.

I can't hold my peace, I have to lift up my voice.  In order to get this world in order, we need to make a choice.
I can't hold my peace, I have to cry out against the killings and shootings, I will not let it cease.
I can't hold my peace, there are criminals on the loose.  We rely on the Police Force for protection, to put their training to use.
I can't hold my peace, concerning those who are homeless.  Money need to be set aside, so they can have a place of rest.
I can't hold my peace, as to how easy it is to get a gun.  There are people tired of our youth provoking fear, and causing them to run.
I can't hold my peace, we all need to really pray.  When it comes time to doing this, don't let anything get in your way.

The body does not discriminate of the colors it possess.  From you head to your toes, are colors there; you have to confess.
Your skin may be one color, but you want pluck out your eyes, all because they are black.  When we speak about color, why do we have to use tact?
When you wear an outfit, does it consist of colors, to bring out the beauty you see?  Will you destroy what you are wearing, because the color are not, what you want them to be?
Colors are beautiful, on the faces of all types of skin.  Don't forget to view people, for the value they have within.
This world would be boring, if all our skins looked the same.  Now we can enjoy a variety of beautiful colors, in every type of name.

There are darkness all around us, resist those who will pull you down.  Cleave to those who will uplift you, from being depressed and bound.
There are darkness all around us, don't be so quick to run with a crowd.  Choose special friends to hang out with, those who are just your style.
There are darkness all around us, don't be so easy to be enticed.  Everyone with a smile, may not be very nice.
There are darkness all around us, live a life pleasing in God's sight.  He's right there to protect you, because He's the God of Light.

Wouldn't it be nice like the past, to spend money, if the Economy wasn't so cold?
You use to buy so much for pennies, in the days of old.
Wouldn't it be nice like the past, if the prices weren't so high?  Today if you bought an item; you would just about die.
Wouldn't it be nice like the past, to pay your bills?  Today to pay them off, will probably take years.
Wouldn't it be nice like the past, to easily get a quick loan?  Today if you fail to suddenly pay it off, they'll put you out of your home.
Wouldn't it be nice like the past, to purchase groceries on credit, from the Corner Market?  Today you find yourself broke, without a dime in your pocket.

Remember, the right road you choose, there will be no need to suffer lack.  You will lose everything, if you decided to turn back?

My feelings were hurt so bad, by my eldest sister.  She screamed at me so much, I no longer wanted to be her sister.  She had things built up in her heart, about me for a very long time.  Therefore, when she had the opportunity, she gave me a piece of her mind.
I am the type of person who goes around producing peace.  The things she had to say to me, she did not let it cease.
I couldn't wait, until she got a chance to finally yield.
I am not use to anyone, screaming in my ears.  
It really affected me so much, I really didn't have the strength to drive.  I had to get a tissue, to keep wiping tears from my eyes.
  I asked her to forgive me, because I wasn't there when she needed me.  Now that everything is alright, this is something I never again want to see.

We will not go back, to live our lives as slaves.  We even hate to think about, all those evil days.
We will not go back, to working in the hot sun.  Just try to get us to do so, like lightening we will run.

We will not go back, to not knowing how to read.  We will be filled with knowledge, passing it on to our seed.

Your mother went through so much to have you, when you were born.  Yet, she was so happy, she needed to blow a horn.
Your mother was so proud of you, it's a joy you cannot explain.  From the time that you were born, she will never be the same.
Your mother loves you, oh so much, even until this day.  She knows how to be a good mother, by letting nothing get in her way.
Your mother will be there to protect you, no matter what you have to go through.  It's important that you do your part, to make her light shine like new.

You are here to be an example, so others will follow you.  He has given you wisdom and knowledge, in the things you say and do.

Now that you are grown, you do not have to let go.  The world is so cold out there, there's so much you need to know.
Now that you have made it safe, to a good old age, you can let go of my hand, to write the final page.

If you are out to help, please take a seat and sit down.    If you are out to hurt, too much of that is already around.
If you are out to help, show me what you can do.  If you are out to hurt, take notice that you are through.
If you are out to help, I have a place for you to serve.  If you are out to hurt, your voice will not be heard.
In this day we are living in, there is no time to get hurt.  We cannot put up with people around, always digging up dirt.  
We have one goal in mind, and that's to please our God.  We do not want to be around you who are out to hurt, when God begin to use his rod.

It's important who you hang around, they say that you are their friend.  You need to be very careful, before something bad happen in the end.
You need to know about a person, before you spend time out.  You need to get to know, what a person is all about.
The wrong friends will try their best, to be in control.  Notice, whatever is said, comes out very bold.
In this world we are living in, we don't know who to trust.  Just because you are so eager to have a friend, take your time and don't be in a rush.
You may be hanging out with your so called friends.  They may stab you in the back, in the very end.

Having the wrong thoughts have gotten so many people killed.  The bad things they had on their minds, they got a chance to fulfill.
