Stop Fighting!
I wish we had a method, to control our inner most anger.  Too many people are fighting, putting people's lives in danger.
You can find the nicest man, not bothering anyone.  Yet, you'll see that he had been hit, from the bullet of an unknown gun.
Why do the innocent person, always end up hurt.  They should not have to suffer, from the negligence of someone's dirt.
God really need to remove all anger that's coming from out of man.  Will there be the next generation living within our Angry land?

Life's Ups and Downs
We all need to wise up, to learn from the mistakes of the past.  Look at the conditions of our land; how long do you think it will last?
Our Oceans are polluted, because of the carelessness of man.  To speak out against such abuse, someone need to take a stand!
The air is filled with pollutants, we can hardly breathe.  All of this come as a result, of those involved in greed.
Our streets are filled with the homeless; they have no place to go.  When they ask for assistance, they
have to search high and low.
Instead of building more Prisons, instill in them the things that's right.  Encourage them at an early age; speak positive words day and night.
Build more Vocational Schools, for those who desire a trade.  Allow their confidence to increase, as their self esteem is raised.

Soldier's Sacrifice
Many mothers and fathers made a tremendous sacrifice.  They're fighting in a war, knowing it could cost their life.
They have left behind, children of all ages.  Some will never see them grow, and advance through many stages.
These soldiers possess a great sense of loyalty.  Not just out of duty, but to keep us all safe and free.
They are not fighting, to fulfill selfish gain.  Neither are they fighting, to make themselves a name.
I believe they feel, those who died should be praised.  In their honor, a flag should be raised.
They are the soldiers who died and gave their life.  They are the soldiers of the Ultimate Sacrifice!

Why go on T.V. to collect money from a Talk Show?  Have you seen how embarrassing they are, why do they stoop so low.
Do you realize that our children are constantly watching, all the things they see?  What impression will you  make on them; which words will you encourage them to be?
Our children are observing grown women and men fussing and fighting.  They need to search out information, how to help children in their writing.
What knowledge do you gain from shows like this, they need to teach our children how to read?  Someone need to take a stand and began to lead.

One Child Missing
One Saturday morning, we prepared for a trip out of town.  Once each child got dressed, they headed for the nearest Play Ground.
We were all called into the house, to prepare to get into the car.  It was time to take a trip, that was pretty far.
Finally, we arrived to my Aunt Doris house, that was out of town.  My mother notice one of her children were missing, she just could not be found.
She began to think, being troubled in mind.  She came to the conclusion, the child was left behind.
My mother called home, to contact her neighboring friend.  As she picked up the phone, laughing very loud; my mother knew this would be a good end.  My sister was still in the Park swinging.  At last we could all take a deep breath, maybe even start singing.

No Longer
No longer do we have to walk by a restaurant, meant for a certain race.  We are able to eat anywhere we like; with foods of a unique taste.
No longer do we forcefully get sprayed upon, by waterholes from our Firemen.  They can now devote their attention, to the fires throughout the land.
No longer are we thrown in jail, for refusing to fight.  Remember, we are created equally, especially, in God's sight.
No longer do we have to get knocked down, from many hungry Police dogs.  Our ancestors chose to lay down their lives, so we could get better laws.
No longer do we have to hold our head down, not looking a person in the eye.  We refuse to accept defeat, but enjoy life before we die.

If it wasn't for "The Dream", we would still get beaten with lumps upside our head.  Many would not be alive; someone would find them dead.
If it wasn't for "The Dream", some would be locked up in jail.  They would be crying out to God, to deliver them from such hell.
If it wasn't for "The Dream", we wouldn't struggle so hard to cope.  We would put up our hands, saying, there is no hope.
If it wasn't for "The Dream", we wouldn't be able to deal with being treated wrong.  "The Dream" has finally come to pass, and we are still causing people ****** harm.

An Embarrassing Halloween
When I was a child, the children went out for Halloween.  As we headed out the door, my father just had to  be seen.
There came a sound from the window upstairs, it was my father with the microphone.  I want to thank God; he was on his own.
He said, "Now Hear This!  I'm going to send my children out to night.  Do not ****** their bags, and do not fight."
As we went to collect our candy, I got a lot in my bag.  Only to see my large feet neighbor snatching my candy, making my father mad.
He escorted me across the field, where my neighbor lived.  He was not going to leave her house, until she was in a position to give.
The girl's father apologized to me and my father, on that Halloween night.  Her father made her give me all of her candy she stole, from everyone in sight that night.

From A Large Family
I am from a large family of twelve; my mother and father raised nine, and my aunts the other three girls.
My mother would comb our hair, and fix them with lovely curls.
My mother spent Saturday night, getting us ready for Sunday; one day ahead.  If she didn't, she knew there would be trouble, especially, getting us out of bed.
She prepared the Sunday dinner, got us bathed and into bed for rest.  She wanted us waking up, feeling out very best.
She polished all our shoes, placing them on the washing machine.  By the time she got finished polishing them, Boy! our shoes were clean.
When Sunday finally arrived, we ate and we all got dressed.  We climbed into our father's car, giving my Mom a chance to rest.
My father drove slow, and then he began to drive a little fast.  He wanted to hear part of the sermon, before the Preacher dismissed at last.

When I was in the ****** Islands, there I went to sing.  The people fell in love with me, it was a place where the waters were clean.
I took a day out to go swimming, in the waters that was lovely and blue.  After getting a sunburn, to scream was something I wanted to do.
They asked me to lead the Open Air Song Service on stage that night, but my hair was all over my head!  I  agreed, not knowing what to do with my hair, looking like a zombie who's dead.
I looked around at the Islanders, some had an Alfro.  I decided to join in with them; know one would ever know.
I sung on stage with all my heart.  They gave gifts, and loved me even the more.

The Seed of Prejudice Exist
The seed of prejudice exist; will it ever leave!  I wish we can get to the the root of it; right down to the seed.
If God has no respect of person, then why should we?  If you think you are better than God, continue to be what you want to be.
The seed of prejudice exist; will it ever cease!  It need to be destroyed, it need to be released.
Deep down in your heart; you don't realize the seed is there.  Let someone rub you the wrong way, instantly this seed will flare.
Pass by a group of people who have begun to talk.  They will ignore your "Hello", you may as well continue to walk.
Until this seed is extracted, from the heart of man; be prepared to encounter prejudice, throughout every land.

Running Fast Going Nowhere
My sister and I followed our father, to the corner Restaurant; he wore sock without shoes.  While we waited for him; he decided to drink a little *****.
When it came time for us to leave; he walked us out the door.  Quickly, a bright light shined, from the Police car, until my father couldn't take it anymore.
He began to run fast, not going anywhere.  My sister and I were far ahead, but my father was far back there.
All we could see was a lot of smoke, because he was kicking up dust.  He had one thing on his mind, evidently, he forgot about us.
We finally made it safely home, without him being locked up.  Somehow the Officer knew, my father was a man who was stuck.

The Crowing Rooster
Sitting in back of the car, in a big brown box was a rooster; who just wouldn't stop crowing.  He was given to their father as a Christmas gift; they rather listen to their father snoring.
Their father three girls were on their way back home, from a very long trip.  The rooster kept crowing behind their backs; they were about to flip.
The door on the side where they were sitting was broken; they held each other and the door tight.
I know their  mother at home was praying, for them to make it home safely, on that Christmas Eve night.
Meanwhile, the rooster was crowing not softly, but he was very loud.  Once they crossed the James River Bridge; they were happy and proud.

Air In the Pipes
When I was a child, there was an announcement on the News at noon.  They said we should flee to the mountains, because Jesus was coming soon.
I remember when night arrived, my father prepared to take a shower.  The old cold pipes burst out like a machine gun; my sisters and I knew this was the hour.
We knew that Jesus had come; we began to jump upon the bed.  Only to be disappointed, by the false News, that was read.

When I was in High School, I was chosen for a serious Play.  We took time to build a set, late one Saturday.
My teacher built a board, across the bottom of the door.  He said, be careful when you enter, so you don't end up on the floor.
As the Play  began to start, I begin to say my lines.  While entering the home made door, you would have thought I was blind.
Yes! I tripped as I entered in, the audience laughed for a very long time.  Through out the entire Play, they couldn't get me off their mind.
The least little thing I did the audience would began to laugh.  This one serious Play, became a comedy at last.

My Eldest Son
Now about my eldest son; he is strong in many ways.  He is very wise, in the words he says.
My eldest son, as a child; he was very smart.  He had his head on his shoulders; a coward he was not.
One day he became angry with his father, just before it was dark.  He became another son, more like the Incredible Hawk,
After my husband lifted him up off his toes, respect is something he knows.

My Middle Son
I have a middle son, as a child he sought my attention.  He did so many strange things; I almost got hypertension.
When I got him dressed, to go to the local School; before reaching the Bus Stop; most of his clothes he would lose.
When he was even younger, he put thick Vaseline on his face and curly hair.  Then he decided to play in the sand, placing it everywhere!
When he came into the house; I didn't know my son.  He looked like a greasy monster; all I could do was run!

To get my attention; he would tap me on my side.  He would keep tapping, until he was satisfied.
Here are the words he said, as he began to tap.  I knew I had to answer him, before he took his nap.
Hey Mom, Hey Mom, Hey Mom, Hey Mom.  Hey Mom, Hey Mom, Hey Mom, Hey Mom.............
After the last Hey Mom, Mom was truly done!

Have you been given a gift; one you rather not have?  Be grateful you were thought about, be grateful  someone care.
Have you been given work, but you were looking for something better?  Be grateful you now have a job; while others are given a bad letter.
Have you seen people searching the dumpsters, for things old and used?  Be grateful you have a warm home, allowing you to prepare food.
Have you been around people, who told lies from their youth?  Be grateful you are not one of them, because you were taught to tell the truth.

There is the smiling face; one you can't wait to see.  They walk around like a bird, as if they are totally free.
There is the sad face with the world upon its shoulder.  One might assume, its been hit , by a rolling boulder.
There is the face that constantly frown. You're not sure how to approach this face, in fear of being knocked down.
There is the lemon face, even the attitude is sour.  The only way to get by this face, you may have to bring roses and flowers.

What are you afraid of, I hope it's not life?  You are going to make it, continue to do what's right.
What are you afraid of, I hope it's not success?  No one can hinder you, when you are determined to do your best.
What are you afraid of, could it be fame?  If you remember to stay humble, God will promote your name.
What are you afraid of, could it be the gossip you hear?  To ignore those flapping lips, will cause you not to fear.

I think about my ancestors, how they were treated so bad.  I think about the toil they suffered, it really makes me mad.
I think about the people, who knew  they could lend a happen hand.  Some just set idly by, this too makes me sad.
I ask myself a question; what can I do to correct the past?  I believe I have the answer; one I finally thought of at last.

When we turn on the TV, we see creatures from outer-space.  Yet, we wonder why children have nightmares, pulling blankets over their face.
When we turn on the TV; we see people fussing and fighting.  Yet, we expect children to do their best in school, after biting their nails, before writing.

Do you have Meekness, while you sit and wait?  Have you put Temperance down, as a special date?
Do you choose Temperance, when things are out of line.  Do you choose Goodness, instead of losing your mind?
