What is the truth?
Good luck finding it.
The god gene is present,
So even our own minds are full of sh*t.
Just let me know when you have proof.
I'll be happy to convert.
I guess you all have something to live for,
That's more than I can say for myself.
Even if you're scared,
At least you're not by your selves.
If we all believed in fairy tales,
Maybe it'd be a nicer place to live.
But with so many people asking for so much,
It seems like it'd be hard to know, who, or what to give.
Let's face it these ideas are crazy.
I'm just fine how I am,
Being selfish, and drunken, and ******, and lazy.
My life has been just fine,
Since I grew up and stopped believing.
Which is probably more than you can say.

Sit there embarrassed,
Just like always.
Look at me,
Subconsciously,
Just like the old days,
Back when you used to impress me,
Without trying.
This is your brain.
This is your brain on drugs,
Sssssssssssssssssss.
It's frying.
See I'm not lying,
They wouldn't put it on tv if it wasn't true.
Ponder the irony,
And I'll get back to you.
I don't mean to make you feel bad but,
Don't be like your dad.
I miss you.
I mean "the real you"
COME BACK SOON
Buddy.

sorry for that.

******,
Depressed,
And not someone who'd like to meet you.
Except,
I don't show any of that.
So, I'll still greet you.
Especially if your pretty,
Or listen to cool music.
I'm pretty picky about who I share my secrets with.
Or overly nice,
Or interested in me.
As long as you have time to talk.
You could be anyone.
Even "an angry lesbian,
With a loaded gun."
Just as long as you listen to me,
I'll be happy.
So I'm sorry if my vulgarity,
And depression overwhelms you,
I promise it's not meant too.

Hallelujah,
We found someone to depend on,
And hallelujah,
We found someone to blame.
Hallelujah,
We found someone that loves us,
And hallelujah,
He will fill us with guilt and shame.
Hallelujah,
He looks just like me,
And hallelujah,
We'll perish in hell fire all the same.
Hallelujah.

Machanically sound.

You'll be wishing you had settled for a guy like me,
In a couple years when your 5 kids deap.
You'll be wishing you had settled for a guy like me,
When you have no money.
You'll be wishing you had settled for a guy like me,
Instead of that dead beat.
You'll be wishing you had settled for a guy like me,
The first time he hits you.
And most of all you'll be wishing you had settled for a guy like me,
When the good looks fade away and all that's left is a washed up old man who doesn't truly love you.
Yep, you'll be wishing you had settled for a guy like me.

Hey! Don't smile at me so much,
I tend to take things the wrong way.
Hey! Don't talk to me so much,
I'll fall deeper in love every day.
Hey! Stop being pretty so much,
It makes it hard to spit out what I need to say.
Hey! Stop having such bright eyes,
It makes the sun rays pail in comparison.
Hey! You should be single,
And if not you should break up with him.
Hey! You should be with me!

Paint fumes,
Ruthless summer nights.
If a flash light comes flickering,
Reflecting off the metal tracks,
We take flight.
I can't help but let it make me feel complete,
Even the quick window scratches,
And pilot tags on the street.
Ruff concrete,
When laced with aerosol,
Make it seem like much more than a wall.
I stand at 6 foot 4 inches tall,
But with a can I stand as high as I can reach.
Now do you see why this is appealing to me?

maybe not?

Let's fall down together,
And scrape our knees.
It only gets worse, they say,
But with you around,
That's hard to believe.
I wish you thought of me,
As much as I think about you.
Please tell me I'm on your mind,
Even if it isn't true.
My scars are still there from when we fell,
I haven't seen yours lately,
But I hope they're healing well.

Lots of reasons

So I'm in the wrong,
Because I can't believe if there were a god,
He would support this religious industry,
Bringing ideas of slavery and bigotry.
I guess I don't wanna be in the right.

whoa dude.
Sam Greaves Oct 2012
I trust my body won't secrete a smell to strong for me to handle,
But my mind on the other hand,
Sometimes the stench is unbearable.
And my thoughts, all the more terrible.
Therefore,
If someone was reading my mind I could tell.
They'd go pail.
Bitterly gagging.
With a look of distress,
And fear for the future.
Top it off with a smirk.
No no,
Laughter and love,
With many waisted efforts and shrugs.

There's lighting in your eyes,
But no one sees it because they're closed.
You were drinking last night,
And I can smell it on your clothes.
You remind me of someone else I knew,
Who was stupid just like you.
I hope you don't die,
Before you decide to pull through.
