Staring at the world
Sitting by the window
watching it pass her by
Sitting by the window
All alone

Her eyes dried red
Forever Incomplete
Regrets left unsaid
She has no retreat

Willingly Given
Forcibly Taken
Pulled Back
to yesterday

Clothes neatly repressed
Easily suppressed
She puts on a new smile
Disguising inflicted vile

Perfect Darling Princess
Daddy's little girl
Alone in her world of shadows
Voices calling out to her in the swirl

Nail Paints
and a Bloodstain Manicure
Cold Faints
feeling so impure

Some wounds
aren't meant to heal
and some scars
are better left unseen

"please!"

There she lays now..
... Forgotten

Darling Abigail
Beauty so broken
Like the promises i made
Holding you against the wall..

Under Azure Skies
She stands alone
A dark figure
against the setting sun

She's made of guilt
of Flowers and Crescent Moons
Her whispers carry over the breeze
with Fragrances of hearbreaks
and irrational swoons

Darkness hides
her Siren song
she sings it to the stars

"Color Me
Cover up the grays
Inject my heart
Watch these Colors flow through me.."

On her knees she prays
...again
For the ones she lost
and for those in vain

Her Clear Blue eyes tear and plead
So that angels may hear and bleed...

"Color Me
Show me a Glimpse of Your Ways
Direct my heart
To Rainbows and better Days"

Eastern Glow
bathes the world in morning light
With Reddish hues
the first rays of the dawn

It lifts her up
to the bright blue
the last one she'll ever see

So here we are
waiting for her
Under these azure skies
Dark Figures
Against the setting sun

I look up
Hoping that she would see
And fill up these empty spaces

"Color Me
Cover up the Grays
Inject my heart
Watch these Colors set me free.."

Despite my scarred reflection
and all these shadows clinging to me
enveloped by misconception
and all i hoped to be

Despite these empty words
and all the false promises
Despite the murmurs of self-delusion
the comfort of an illusion

despite the desperation
of reaching beyond
of holding on
to your hand
of standing in the rain
of removing the traces
my heartfelt laceration

despite all the wounds
the ones i see
and those you cant
i still look up at the sky
scratching the surface of the drops that fall

despite these misgivings
and all you did to me
i still hold your hand
just in spite

despite of what i know
i look away

Inconveniently
These thoughts wrap around our fingertips
dancing from corner
to corner
Circular edges enclose their flaws
Awkwardly stretched

Cowards
they fear the truth
Like their creator they run
from the flame
Paths tangential
to what we knew
Burnt away

Laugh at me
you will at best
To hide that ugly reflection
Mock what you always denied
Surely its not only me

Trapped
but completely free
With no barriers
we are both confined
You and I
Why ?
we ask ourselves
The answer uncomfortably apparent
Why endure the torment
Of knowledge?

The same reason we do everything else...
Love..

Meaningless
pushed and pulled
through arbitrary dimensions
Emulating differences in the same,
the Fatal Contradiction
Redefining the sane!

Recombined
fused with idle spinning.
Forging the distorted lie,
these lines in between
with apparent coherency
and ingenious discrepancies
blurring the boundaries
of this new systematic hell!

Put in perspective
these inconsequential banalities
and childish banter
all but shape the future
reiterating the errors of yesterday

Skewed

Conceptualized
Vizualized
Realized
Quantized
... Denied!
how long was it before i fell?

does it even matter?
when even these parallel thoughts repel...

She smiles at me
Sitting there everyday
If only I knew who she was

She smiles at me
Pale skin bathed in light
Her eyes ask me to stay
If only I knew who she was

Scared to shatter my delusion
Silence holds me there
She smiles at me anyway

Swallow my fear
She sits there wordlessly pleading
Take my hand and look at me
What am I to say?

Another test?
The past wasn't enough?
Dark hair flowing
Her grace undemanding
If only she would stop smiling at me

Close my eyes
Wishing she'd disappear
Close my eyes
Wishing I was nearer

Walk up to her
Her twinkling innocence imploring
Sit by her side and
Whisper

Why do you torment me?
Are you only in my head?
Is your smile the truth
Or just another radiant lie?

She smiles at me
With ruby red lips parted
An image of purity
long thought departed
If only I knew who she was

She gets up with ease
but with a strength unseen
Surely she is salvation
My perfect illusion

Please don't leave
Ive gotten used to you
Grab her hand
Cracks like glass
Grasping at the breeze
I'm sitting alone

She smiles at me
From far beyond
Safe in my minds eye
I know who she is
Finally im free

Open my eyes
And smile

...He smiles at me
Sitting there everyday
If only I knew who he was...

What if we could start again
..and just stopped running!
What if we looked back
..staring back at us in vain!

Why did we just cease to listen
..to every beat in unison?
What if you could hear
...and not watch these eyes glisten!

Where would we be?
If we just cared a little more
Would we still be we?
...even if all we did was ignore!

what if we just tried
...and hold on a little tighter
making this burden
...but a little lighter!

What if we could hit rewind
Try this one last time
Would it be any different?
Staring at us staring back in line

Would it end any other way?
..If i just didn't walk away
leaving you alone to wonder
What if we...?
