I live only here, between your eyes and you,
But I live in your world. What do I do?
--Collect no interest--otherwise what I can;
Above all I am not that staring man.

To be still like the moon hung over a breathless night
To exist

watching your life slide out of view.
but one question stays with me
what do i do
New driver with a car,
a conductor with a baton.
Weaving a coupé in and out of traffic.
Using the wand to dictate tempo.

Soon the driver is confident.
Green means allegro.
Yellow means presto.
Red, slam on your brakes.

Cruising along with no worries at all.
The driver is calm and relaxed.
Music fortissimo….head bobbing.
Fifty in a thirty….who cares?

Until the devil comes out of nowhere,
a crescendo of screeching and crushing.
Red paint on black car.
Panic strikes and the gas is mistaken for the brake.

The rest in a blur.
Hitting high note after high note.
Broken fingers and ribs.
No more directing for this composer.

And the symphony is over.
The audience is in awe.
Amazing Grace can be heard,
Playing from the other car.

my heart's a goner and so's my head.
for you, I've died a thousand times over
and over again.

This poem I write for the love of my life, who is so far away,
I speak to you on MSN, but you are still not quite so real,
I write this one for you my love, I think of you every day,
If you were to speak to me, my love I could not conceal,

And yet still we speak every night, how I wish I could see your face,
I wish that I could hold you tight, and never let you go,
I wish for a miracle to happen, and that I am there lost in your embrace,
I wish that I could see you, whether in Paris or Bordeaux,

But still you are so far away, to far for me to reach,
I pray that you and I will be reunited someday,
Whether I am on a mountain, or lying on a sandy beach,
For us to be together my love, for that I always pray.
IF the oriole calls like last year
when the south wind sings in the oats,
if the leaves climb and climb on a bean pole
saying over a song learnt from the south wind,
if the crickets send up the same old lessons
found when the south wind keeps on coming,
we will get by, we will keep on coming,
we will get by, we will come along,
we will fix our hearts over,
the south wind says so.
The party engulfed all senses.
The music sending vibrations through her
chest that challenged her heart's.
The smell of musk and sweat and alcohol
hung in the air like a thick drape.
The taste of one mouth.
And then another.
There was nothing but the mass of bodies that
breathed and swayed together.
Our movements orchestrated by the
One on high.

Meet the ageless man,
He has lived his life for as long as he can
he's been here for ages
yet his body never changes
he once said: " I have a lot of things to do"
and he wished to stay for a lifetime or two
He got what he wished for
and did  all the things and a lot more
Spent a lifetime meeting passers by
and spent another saying goodbye
counted the days spent waving hands
for he stayed while others go.
How long will he be here, that we'll never know..
Meet the ageless man
He has lived his life for as long as he can..
