waiting to be counted
S' busiso Apr 2015
Waiting to be counted . Do i even matter in the world Or am i just anouther person who is just taking in oxygen and depriving someone else of that oxygen. I see people coming and going in and out of my life but which ones count and which ones dont?

With 7.3 billion  people in the world just makes me wonder what i am living for . Does the world even know that you exist or you just a by stander . You only count to your family and friends. Even graves have numbers but sadly whats your number out of the 7.3 billion people that are alive in the world?

Does the fame and fortune make people count more than others?  So what about my brother or my sister living in the middle of Africa who live under the poverty line do they also count in this number of people that exist?

Live the life you are proud of , even if no one else takes notice just know that happiness is far better than worrying who is famous and who isn't.  I am counted because i voice my opinion and make sure i go through each day being happy.

Life is the best gift from God! I am number 4 264 587 188 so what number are you?

not a South African
S' busiso Apr 2015
I am not a SouthAfrican but i am an African not due to the pigmentation of my skin or because i was born in Africa. Africa is born within me , its my first ever home that ive ever known and i am a proud child of the African ancestry.

Africa isnt perfect as all human have their own imperfections . ITS SERIOUSLY SCARY HOW I CAN ATTACK MY OWN BROTHER AND LIE TO MYSELF AN SAY UBUNTU IS WHAT I BELIEVE. As human we build our own boarders and hope that everything will be well . Africa is a country not a continent . Forced by the media to believe only in the bad that happens around us and not embracing all the good things that have.

If i cant be an African then i am not the child of the soil. I am sorry to all my African brothers and sisters that have been attacked lately in their own  country because we speak a different language and we come from different tribes. Africa Unite !!! AFRICAN AND PROUD

4am poetry
S' busiso Apr 2015
I once fell inlove with a girl that I couldn't get out of my mind far after the relationship had ended. Days gone by and she would still be the one who navigates my thoughts but doesnt poses the power to my smile.what i would wake up in the middle of the night thinking it was nightmares was just sudden realisations that girl you werent in my life no more. Heart strings felt like life lines that were just abandoned on the side of the road.

It's unhealthy that you still have control over my thoughts and unfortunately the heart doesn't easily forget what it had lost.so i  Thought that next time i fall inlove i will go head first so that maybe if things go bad before the heart had jumped in like a crazy kangaroo maybe a headache tablet might be able to help.I know i should probably had let you go but letting go seemed like the hardest thing i've ever had to do. So i thought about you today , thought about the plans we had sadly in all our plans this was never planned for . How does one prepare for their heart to be broken when love is such a beautiful thing when you have it and the misery that comes after is imaginable. I guess you will never know what you left me feeling like...
