Cataclysmic Love
Ryan Ngin Sep 2016
So love...

Love like the cataclysmic collision of a hundred burning stars,

Love like an earth shattering fissure, leveling everything in its path.

Love like the symphony of a thousand melodious orchestras,

Love like the crashing tsunamis' thunderous roar.

...

I guess what I'm trying to say is,

Have a love that leaves everyone wondering if they ever even knew love at all.

Adorn
Ryan Ngin Mar 2015
Look, see how the moon adorns the sky, just as you adorn the earth.
Just as the stars are to the moon, so are others to you.
None as bright as you, none as gorgeous.
Fill my heart as the night fills the sky.
My everything. My love.
Adorn me

Your smile,
etched onto my brain.
A searing memory of beauty i will forever hold dear.

Mockery
Ryan Ngin Mar 2015
Do not mock what you cannot understand. Lest you be seen for a fool. Accept that everyone is a universe in their own right and that they are only as much as they reveal.

Love transcends all.
Time, species, language, race and even distance.
Love is the invisible thread that keeps everything connected.

Broken angel, silent lover
Ryan Ngin Mar 2015
And he sits there alone in his room with nothing but the music to keep away the solitude.

With nothing on his mind but her;
Her smile,
Her laugh,
Her hazel brown eyes,
Her raven black hair,

Those rose red lips.

And he’s convinced himself that angels are real,
Alas, he asks himself, how can an angel ever love a mere human such as he?
Every night he prays that such a miracle would find him,
That such a love would find him, and never leave him,
That maybe, just maybe, he’d finally get a chance to feel what it was like to be loved.

Now this isn't the first time he’s done this.
Every night, he lies on his bed as the night consumes him, and the cycle repeats.
The silent screams inside his mind,
The questions, the what if’s and the maybe’s.

And all he ever wants;
Is to see that smile yet again,
To hear that laugh,
To gaze into those eyes,
To smell her hair,

To taste those lips.

He sees the hurt behind her smiles,
The pain behind her eyes,
The emptiness in her laugh,
The sorrow she’s endured.

All he wants is to take her,
And show her the world,
And make sure that that smile never fades,
As the silent lover loves the broken angel till the end of time.

Hurricane
Ryan Ngin Sep 2016
Your smile hit me like a sucker punch,
Knocking me off balance,
I never saw it coming.

Your gaze captured my heart like a fish in a drag net;
Dragged through the corals and sea bed,
Leaving more than a few bruises and cuts.

Your touch, My ecstasy,
Gave me a yearning I never I knew I had,
An addiction with no rehabilitation.

Did I ever stand a chance against you?

I am,
Completely,
Hopelessly,
Irretrievably,
In love with you.

This is for you
Ryan Ngin Mar 2015
This is for you,

This is for the empty,
For the broken,
For the lonely,
For the forgotten.

This is for you, who cry yourselves to sleep every night.
Whose skin is a canvas, and blade a brush,
Who were hurt by words once harshly said,
Who think no one will notice if you fade.

This is for those who fake a smile every day,
Who lies and says that they’re okay,
Who've turned numb from the pain,
With nothing left to keep them sane…

This...is for you.

I promise,

That I will fill your life with nothing but joy,
That I will be there to pick up the pieces,
That I will remind you that I’ll always be there with you to hold your hand,
That I will forget the people who forgot you.

That I will be there to catch the tears,
That I will kiss the painting you've made and face with you your fears,
That I will whisper sweet words to you with no lie,
That before you decide to fade, I will tell you the reasons why,

I love you

That I will make it my aim to make you smile,
That I will look into your eyes, and see the lies, and make sure everything is okay before the day ends,
That my love for you will make you feel again,
That I, will keep you sane.

I promise

This is for you

The moon and the man

Uncertain, alone and cratered by imperfections.
Its amazing how similar the moon sometimes is to man.

Moonlit souls
Ryan Ngin Mar 2015
And I swear to you that I will love you to the moon and back, I will cuddle with you in a fortress of blankets and pillows and watch Disney movies till you’re ok. When you’re tired, I will lay your head on my chest and sing you to sleep. Sleep knowing that no demon will harm you and that I will protect you from all. Know that only in the moonlight will our souls reveal themselves, in the conceal of night, away from prying eyes, only then will our souls reveal their truest of forms. Be it love, hate, dreams or fears; the thoughts we think of moments before we drift are what matters the most to us, know that I’ll be thinking of you, day or night.

Solitude
Ryan Ngin Mar 2015
For too long I've faked laughter, smiles and joy.
If you’re not careful, the mask you wear slowly becomes a face, and the line between the two becomes a blur.
In solitude, you will either find, or lose yourself.
