you deserve the world, the stars, and all the heavens
the countless planets, and the love in every heart
and yet, seemingly unknowing, you fill each hole with your own love
your smile like moonshine
your laugh like stardust
and soon, we feel as if we deserve the same.

silver
dripping like silver
paler than moonshine
softer than sun

yellow
twinkling like yellow
brighter than stardust
fuller than gold

hazel
shockingly hazel
lingering gently
too far away

heartbeat
our pounding heartbeat
muted by blankets
smothered by wants

early
alone too early
darker than morning
colder than night

hold me
why can't you hold me
when i weep softly
itching to fly

pillow
you are the pillow
i grasp too tightly
dream while i sigh

always
wistful for always
breathing too deeply
green eyes closed tight

longer
aching for longer
why do we have to
why can't you stay

craving
just you i'm craving
yellow on silver
hazel on green

make it
think i can make it?
soft golden pillows
last through the night
blondie?

pampered
in our little home
of great abundance
curiosity
unknowing
that we soon would be
weary
dry, dusty
in a land of wonders and of hardships
a soul had missed
their echo rings through the woods
i ever remember
we bid farewell
we watched as our
great fortune floated away
and no
gold or silver
we
indulge in
can replace
the
unavoidable
price of
our weeping
westward expansion

We live for Webkinz
Webkinz is true joy
Oh webkinz, oh webkinz,
So loyal, so true
Oh Webkinz oh webkinz,
Where would i be without you?

Oh webkinz with creatures
Crawling round free
Oh webkinz I thank you
For being kind to me

With pandas and frogs
With bunnies galore
All you can do is hope
They’ll have more
games to enjoy
Like sledding and cooking and sailing.
Ahoy!

Webkinz, my first friend
I hope to cherish our relationship
Until the very end

Really oh webkinz, where would I be
Without your constant support
Watching over me

I’ll never forget the times we’ve
Had so dear
For without them I would be near
The end of my happiness
Without your love
Sent to me from the stars above

I conclude my poem with this statement
Full of sincerity
For your beauty is truly of rarity
Webkinz you’ll always be with me
Memories and all
For you’re always there
At my every call

Lydia
who sings like liquid gold
and writes an Ode to Earth
who is life and laughter in a bottle
who is wise beyond her years
whose hair is made of sunshine,
is too tired to go to bed
who tells me in Spanish you can do it
who tells me there’s so much I need to understand
whose bright sunflower eyes sparkle
always wants to play
night and day
laughs with us about  how to say
was sick
is “Herman” and “Hermana-nucleosis”
is a bubble of joy and bliss
lives in my heart forever
is hiding in Argentina, for a while, at least
who talks to me inside my head
is the sun peeking through the trees
who walks down the leaf-covered street, up and down, up and down
is the gold of the sun that shines down on us
everyone loves her
who loves her who?

Some fear the Silence.
Who? Not I.
Silence brings a sense
Of the otherness of things.
They say Silence speaks a thousand words
But not all can hear.
Silence may bring the fear of the unknown
Of the unfamiliar
Of the foreign
But with it comes understanding
Of the familiar
Of the known
Silence speaks, but not all can hear.
Who fears the silence?
Not I.
