Remember the days of the past
Full of life, joy, and gentle hums
But those days did not last
     For what's left are doldrums

Love and hate are one side of the same coin
They symbolize passion, and feeling.
You can say that the two words are synonyms
The antonym of the two, indifference
Not feeling, not saying, not displaying emotion
This is truly a feeling, to not feel any emotion at all
To be passive at all times,
I can see why indifference gets it's own side...

Isolation isn't what you think it is
person who is isolated is someone who can't comprehend the fact of loneliness
someone who tries to surround himself other people to feel better about himself
because he just doesn't give a ****
a person who doesn't feel for the people he surrounds himself around
an isolated person is just someone who cant make friends but can make "friends"
A person like that kid who sits by himself by the big oak tree at lunch
isn't isolated from us just misunderstood
That person who is popular, everyone knows of him,
and is just there is isolated
He has no friends, just people who are trying to be popular
He has no one but himself and the lies the people around him say
I don't feel sorry for the kid who sits by himself by the big oak tree
I do feel sorry for the popular kid for he isn't misunderstood but misunderstands
That no one really cares about what he feels
I feel sorry that he is isolated from the group to be some sort of advertisement
I feel sorry that I am the kid who sits by himself by the big oak tree
who is misunderstood but understands
I feel sorry that i am the popular kid who is misunderstands the concept of isolation
I am sorry that you misunderstand that isolation isn't loneliness
but instead means to be separated from the group
to be used as nothing but an advertisement

All it takes is a smile
A movement of muscles
A gesture of happiness
A disguise of all the lies
What i see isn't happiness, just a hollowness left behind by a smile
A smile that can mean anything

Now as i sit here by the terminal
I sit back and think of life
Think if what was, what is, what is to be
and what has became of me
Then again I am writing is for that
certain...
lovely...
nobody

What if everything was a lie
that would mean the ups would mean down
and the lefts would mean right
But that would also mean that all the "i love you's"
would mean nothing
and all the "i hate you's" would always mean more.
That would mean all those times I ridiculed you for being different
would mean that i had a crush on you,
but all those times i was with another girl, it was a hollow smile
What if everything was a lie, who would care
Because if everything was a lie that means every in this poem is true...

All i think of is her... and him
His grin of deception, and her hollow smile,
All i can think about is how he gave her sadness
All i can think about is that music box i gave her for her 12th birthday,
As it rings throughout the little coffee shop, and his constant pestering of it,
trying to make the tone less... beautiful...
The music box that brings joy and life to her,
The music box that makes her smile
That beautiful tone that symbolizes my love for her
And he's trying to destroy it, to make it his...
Nothing compares to the sadness I feel every time I see
Him defile the music box to the point of a battered box.
But the only thing he can't defile is the music
A music box that she enjoys winding every morning
That he won't understand
That I will still think of as the years pass by...
