From the tower
I lay on Hypnos' open arms
Dreams of sunshine
But wake to painful howls
From beyond my tower
The sky of infected blood
Painful flashes of painful light
Forshadow the shake of all
World in pain
Children's nightmares
All the tears hears
All the sour sounds
from a land far away
beyond glass windows and doors
All is seen
nothing can be done
Close my eyes then wake
to pale white nothingness
brother Thanatos has come
to pick the flowers for the graves
In the Philippines in late August there is usually a seasonal mosoon, typhoon or heavy rain which ends up devastating the whole country. As I look outside my apartment window at night it is hard not to notice that all I could see was red and some red light. Every now and then thunder and lightning devastate the sky. I know for sure that somewhere out there someone is loosing their home, family or maybe even their life.
