A mess
Rinni Choudhary May 2014
She wakes up in the morning
Her hair is a mess
So is her head
She gets out of bed and dresses to be her best self
She says to herself that it is okay
And that it is going to be a good day
All day, she is out, wanting to get home
And when she does, all she wants is some time alone
She thinks nobody wants her
But that is not true
Because he is right there, waiting to say, " I do "
She gets through her chores and gets into bed
Thinking to herself what wrong she did
Her hair is a mess
And so is her head.

Some things about her
Rinni Choudhary May 2014
The sky was clear
The birds sang their song
Cotton flew, like snow all along
And somewhere in the middle, she sat like a walnut
Looking strong on the outside, but dying on the long

Decors hung from the ceiling
The DJ played his beats
Disco lights filled the room
And yet in the crowd, she felt alone
with no one to talk to, no one to moan

The lights were out
The wall clock kept ticking
And as everyone slept in peace
There she was, weeping to herself
About the challenges she faced

Her eyes were red
Cheeks so pale
And a breath that was going away
With every tear that fell

Looks like she's living
But she really is dead
Because what she wanted to hear
No one ever said...

Her life
Rinni Choudhary May 2014
She hated herself
She hated them more
But she'd put on a face
Which wasn't that sour
Her smile, though not real
Was as contagious as the flu
Did some magic on people
They'd go all blue
The new chick, she was
The burning topic, here & there
More she'd want to hide herself
She was getting famous everywhere
Not so fond of life
Her best friend was just a knife
Had conflicts with her menage
Everything seemed like just a mirage
She hated herself
She hated them more
But she'd put on a face
Which wasn't that sour
