Daddy
On a bright and sunny day I watched the Angels take you away.
Away from all your hurt and everything here on earth that mattered.
Cancer claimed your life but God took your soul, and the daddy who truly mattered.
Truly now in Gods arms you rest with peace and love from the very best.
With love I let you go, just know you'll always be the greatest possible dad God could have ever given to me!!

The Truckin Life
She said, I just want to see you.
He said, That can not be for this life of truckin is the only way for me.
She said, I just want to hold you.
He said, The life of a truck driver is all I'll be.
She said, You know I miss you.
He said, You know I can't come home for this life of truckin is all I know.
She said, I'll wait for you until you're ready for me.
He said, The road in front of me is all I see!!

Grandson
As I sit here today, I can feel my life slowly slipping away.
I see the baby you once were, becoming a little man and so much more.
You've captured my heart with those deep brown eyes, a smile that can light up some of the darkest places, and all the love you show whenever I walk through the door.
Soon you'll be grown and making tough decisions on your own.
But as you become the gentleman I know you will be, please don't loving your Best Friend, your Grammy.

My Daughter
As I lay here tonight, all I really Want to do is hold you tight.
But God said that could not be because you are just to far from me.
I think of all we've been through, the laughs the hurts, the tears, we've cried , the crazy world I've seen you through but most of all me just wanting to shield you from this so called life.
You are apart of me, just like I am apart of you, and my love for you will only grow because you are my beautiful daughter I want you to know.
Time nor distance can ever change the love I feel for you in my heart today.
You are my daughter and will always be, for I once felt your heartbeat growing inside of me.
