Even if just for a moment,
I want to touch the most intimate
parts of your soul with my tongue
and taste what its like for you
to be with me.
Touch me,
it doesn't matter where
and it doesnt matter how
I need to know I'm still alive
so someone touch me now
Shake my hand and say hello
or pat me on the back
kiss me on the cheek
that I may feel this sense I lack
slap my face and pull my hair
make me bleed I just don't care
dig your nails into my skin
so I can feed this need within
I've been numb for such a time
that even pain would be sublime
so touch me, touch me now
I don't care where, I don't care how

Don't think,
Just write,
This might be the best advice,
Don't even try,
Let the words flow,
You are the master of your mind,
Let the world melt away,
Your free to write about whatever may haunt your mind,
I can see it in your eyes,
Don't think, just write.

Like a woman, Sea gathered her skirt

The waves moved away from the shore

And I thought she will fly

Some followed her on the open sea bed

Lured as she tentatively revealed her naked thighs

and then she unleashed her fury

A big wall of rage swept across her naked terror

A few survived the surge but then many died inside

Engulfed in her passionate cries

Few days later, I found a little girl curled up on the beach

Small hands holding some sea shells

as waves lapped her dead smile....

The villagers told us that before the waves hit, the sea receded almost 100 mts into the sea self and then came up....
This one poem I wrote on January 2005 few days after Tsunami hit India, when I was voluntarying with some NGO's in a neighbouring town, in the aftermath of Tsunami.

@Shashi 2005
Oh if I were the velvet rose
Upon the red rose vine,
I’d climb to touch his window
And make his casement fine.

And if I were the little bird
That twitters on the tree,
All day I’d sing my love for him
Till he should harken me.

But since I am a maiden
I go with downcast eyes,
And he will never hear the songs
That he has turned to sighs.

And since I am a maiden
My love will never know
That I could kiss him with a mouth
More red than roses blow.
Of all the things we say we know

Of all the love we say we show

When fires burn

When tables turn

Where do we find ourselves?

Finger by finger we're losing grasp

But something tells me this won't last

How do you know when you've found the path

one plus one, you do the math

Why must we always act prepared

Sometimes we just want to be scared

Exhilaration comes where there is fear

We poke and **** tear by tear

Who has the answers to questions that burn

Only time...

Until the tables turn
