The night falls with a silent sigh, entwined are we.
The understanding of life for which I pray
flares once, then dies,
Almost all hope end.
My shadows surround me, crying.
"An overdose will be painless".
My chest fills with fright
They come in closer
It's almost over
Then comes the light
It drops a rope
I can fall to my knees and give into the shadows
Or run with all my might
and struggle to climb
I look up and grab the rope
This was a bigger step for me

She is like a bed of roses
Soft and plush petals
But underneath there are thorns
For every time she mourns
But when im near
She sheds a tear
I'll say it's okay
Even though I say that everyday
She looks away as if with guilt
For all the times guys made her wilt
Instead I embrace her
Because I need her
Looking down I see her smiles
She Blooms
