In the deepest reaches of my soul I am sad
Never to hear your voice utter encouraging words
Never to see your smile brighten the room
Never to feel your gentle hand comfort me
If you were here now
You would know exactly what to say
You would say those encouraging words
You would smile to brighten the room
You would hold me and comfort me
My heart aches in agony
But then I look around me
I see others who cry my tears
Who feel my sorrow
Those who heard your encouraging words
Those who saw your smile brighten the room
Those who felt your comforting touch
I start to feel your presence around me
I then realize you are still here
The gentle breeze now carries your words
The sun now emits the warmth of your smile
The soft grass beneath my feet now comforts me
My heart starts to lift from the deep abyss
My tears start to shed for joy not sorrow
Standing there with my eyes closed
Taking a deep breath
Hearing your words
Seeing your smile
Feeling your touch

I walked into the forest unknowingly
On a straight used path
Like a trained soldier on guard
Excitement starts to fill me
Beginning to build my pace to a run
I hear winds howling
Small raindrops start hitting my head
Then it turns to a downpour
As fast as it came
The rain stopped
Now limp from exhaustion
I exit the forest to rest and dry off
Tight in a blanket
I lie down till I can walk again

My fears have become reality here
As I walk in total darkness
Not knowing where I am
Not knowing who I am
My feet stumble on a cracked surface
It's path is cold and brittle
The chill of the wind
Seeps to my bones effortlessly
As I am in perpetual cold
Uncontrollably I continue walking
Towards a point that doesn't exist
Or ever did
My mind has gone beyond reason
Only chaos reigns there
A surge of pain takes over me
Dropping ******* my knees
Grabbing the sides of my head
Then it subsides
Now limp with exhaustion
I slowly get up again
To follow the path with no road
I know the pain is gone
Soon light will shine again
I know
Cause I have been through this all
The light is a small flickering flame
Only a small amount of heat
Does it protrude
Then it disappears
I am in the darkness again
And soon to fell the soul ripping pain
How long can I do this?
Will I survive?
Or shall I stop walking
An miss every light
That crosses my path
For now I shall continue walking
And cringe at the thought of my future

You can see her every night
When the moon is full
And the stars blaze of brilliance
She dances for the music
And nothing else
Her graceful movements
Are that of divine beauty
Accented by the light
She dances for the music
And nothing else
Many of men danced
All in tune of the melody
But never made her stop
She dances for the music
And nothing else
Only once did the music stop
She was with child
But more did her beauty grow
She dances for her child
And nothing else

In light as to what I can see
I find no other as beautiful as you
The soft skin on your gentle hand
Would make my heart race near exhaustion
If placed upon my cheek
Hows sensuous your tongue
When wetting the very lips
I long to embrace with my own
The small glimmer I see in your piercing eyes
Paralyzes me in aspiration
I am numb minded in fear
Of saying feeble words of no meaning
Accompanied by endless shame
So I walk back to the corner
Where I fool-heartedly thought
I might have insurmountable will
To pronounce my existence
My only regret
Not knowing your name

When you are in love
with someone who doesn't know
the conversations you have
are smart, witty, and in-depth
too bad they are all in your head

When you are in love
with someone who doesn't know
you would give everything
to prove how much you love them
too bad they never ask

When you are in love
with someone who doesn't know
your heart aches in pain
your soul yearns for something
too bad you just smile near them

When you are in love
with someone who doesn't know
You must tell them everything
how you feel inside
too bad they will never know
