From a ripple to the roar,
Of desires and desperations,
Hopes and aspirations.
With songs unsung, memories unseen,
Moves undanced, sights unblinked.
They riddle through a riling heart,
Languishing the clod of infinte memories,
Leaving behind a trail in oxblood,
On lanes of the suffering they imprint,
Never-failing pillars,
A Niagara of ambition,
Struggling and chasing,
The ring road of passion.

In this passage of arms,
The wants and these cries,
Shall put up a fight,
The first of its kind.
Moving every mountain,
Warming stiff snow,
Freezing the unforgiving fire,
Chocking the unmoving souls.
With a focus down unshaking roads,
They shall create a nexus,
With the nimbus, the whole universe,
To provoke the storms,
The thunder and the tides,
To hold their arms, to stay on their side,
In this endless unfailing ride.

With the mantra of victory,
And horse-like sight,
They come marching to lead you,
Down this one one life.
But in this march of time,
Through the years that crawl by,
Every road that you take,
Clinging onto dreams you've always dreamt,
Shall engulf a mist--
Some cocainic smoke,
That sting your eyes as they behold,
Your graceless retreat,
From closing doors.
Those million desires,
From burning heartaches,
Shall freeze and founder,
Fall and break.

Only leaves of paper,
Made by a dry-eyed stranger,
Doping human wants--
Most passionate minds.
Rendering them coarse and dud,
Cloudy and undone.
These leaves, they decide it all.
Your breaths, your wants,
The heartbeats, your wish grants---
The forest,
The ones who have most,
Shall foreshadow,
They can foretell,
The end of the roads they choose to take.
And those who have fragments,
A passive flow,
They know not where this journey,
Will allow them to go.
And yet they fight!
They give up their all!
But alas!
In this clientele of cliche,
Will breathe a cradle--
Will live the neverness of the niche,
That bears, where blooms,
From a dying ripple, to the fading roar,
Of desires and desperations,
Hopes and aspirations.
That will not live,
Oh! They die so slow...
As the pillars fall,
The Niagara runs cold.

A cascade in crimson.
It’s a waterfall of petals.
They fall on you,
They fall on them.
I’m standing right there,
Beside you, and beside them,
I’m not wet.
I’m not wet.

Another infinity,
A different reality,
It passes unnoticed,
I pass unidentified.
Unwet, unsoaking,
In heaven’s greatest delights.
Some truths, mostly scars,
They keep me engulfed.
They keep me dry.
They keep me dry.

Some things,
They’re not for me.
Most things,
They walk away from me.
It’s like I live a half life,
A half smile,
A half lie.
There exists these walls,
These demarcations,
They surround me,
They eat me up.
I’m not allowed to proceed,
Or make a recovery,
Only stand and sink,
Into questions unanswered…
Into ‘’God loves thee’’---
And ‘’God loves thee nots.’’
I don’t know why!
And yet they stand,
They separate me,
Me from you.
Me from them.
Me from heaven’s forbidden delights,
Me from the crimson rain.

Far away from this world of love and hate,
Far across the unknown oceans that separate,
Into those skies that never end,
Lives infinity.
The greater infinity.
The unknown, the undefined,
Something beyond this life where we exist.

We shall never know,
We shall never understand,
We shall never be in touch,
With this genre of beauty.
For we know not how to live,
We know not how to see,
We are mere earthlings,
Enclosed in the little boxes where we breathe.

We think we know it all!
We believe we rule the world!
Alas!
This ruling,
The genius brains, the twenty-first century,
Loses its life, its importance,
When made to stand before,
The greater infinity.

There is a world beyond our world,
A Life larger than life,
Stories, more complex than ours combined.
We know nothing!
We are not the masters,
Not superior to anything!
'Cause,
          We breathe in the midst,
          Of a beautiful something…
          A fascinating, unknown,
          Undefined everything.
          An infinity beyond the sky,
          beyond the unknown oceans,
An infinity far away from this world,
An infinity beyond you and me…

When the first ray of dust,
Made love to the last drop of rain,
A rainbow breathed,
In the shades of grey.

A million hours of togetherness,
Thirty seconds of love.
A lifetime of burning memories,
And only a breath to make us part.

I tread that path now and then,
Making my way through leaves uncrushed.
Bleeding as I walk over,
Some diamonds scattered in the dust.

Memories’ the only undying flame,
Amidst trickling tears,
And a cold beating heart,
A friend I have lost today.

Now as I stare at the black expanse,
Into the ocean of nothingness,
As  I sink and melt onto hopes  unknown,
I feel the wind curling down.
After heaving a few more sighs,
I realize,
Those   foot prints that we left behind,
Are gone, lost in the sands of time.
