This river carried me to your ocean
And in your shores it was safe to play
But as the tides and currents flow
I found myself swept out to the deep
I began to swim, my aim was to breathe
I was only creating waves
Salt I my eyes, I couldn’t see
Now I’ve learnt to float
Water carrying me
And now I touch the stars above me
I AM where the skies and seas meet
