This poem was originally written with inspiration when a dear friend (love her like a sister) was reconnected with her life long love and requested I pen how her heart felt!
However as the last verse came to be it gave me more memories of my parents' love for one another more than anything. Seeing my mother say goodbye or rather "until we meet again my love" at his graveside was the true inspiration. Especially the very last verse. Love you Pops! Miss you like crazzzzy. ❤️
