This hand, this face, this grace, Beseech me Your glory has been found Your strength put on show When you are gone the world lies flat The eagles walk The lion stays silent in its den The world is not at it's norm When you utter no words The quiet is deafening These moments expand through the unknown Finger on the trigger, waiting for explosion When you are near and in comfort All is still and song appears A noise heard only in love Heard only by the lucky When that smile sits upon your face The glow drives outwards Happiness is spread around Covering the area of devastation A fifty fifty world now left flat No grace, no face, no smile For you are gone And the world is plain again
