I have died before Once in October Then in May And yet I walk around May is curious So full of itself, so green With it's indifferent abundance It's quiet insistence on being alive The pigeons at the beach don't notice They've learned to absorb such disappearances Without acknowledgement At night, my mind moves thru the trees Knowing what the day could not say Nothing to confirm Yet refusing to indict __________________________
