I grew up watching the life drain out of her eyes I grew up watching her lose her spark bit by bit I grew up watching her sniffle at every word; watching the big fat drops drip like a leaking faucet with no fix I grew up watching her smiles turn fake, watching her jaw clench at his unruly words I grew up listening to her pain, Grew up watching her suffer out loud Not silently underneath pillows but screaming from the couch on the hall I grew up watching this movie This violent, scary movie And I never liked scary movies They made my hands tremble and eyes water But I have been watching this movie for years With the one hope that it'll come to an end one day All movies do, don't they?.

A scary movie
