I hope she's everything I couldn't ever be I hope she carries her anger peacefully That's if she carries any of it. I hope when you look at her, eyes filled with love You know for sure you're gonna make her yours and not fool around I hope when you text her all night You make her a silent promise to stay by her side I hope when she calls you crying You ensure she ends the call smiling I hope when she comes running into your arms You open them wide, lift and spin her around I hope when she breaks a plate, you pick up the pieces of glass so they don't ***** her I hope when she breaks down in her room you're there to cuddle her I hope when she asks you to cook for her You serve her a plate of her favourite meal I hope when she's on the brink of death You lie right beside her pulling her to your chest I hope you do everything that you never did with me, With her.

I hope she's your first choice
Why did u show me phases of you i was never going to have permanently Don't you know my heart's too brittle for temporary Why did you hold me like i was your everything, Like it was my finger that you wanted to slide on a ring Why did you dance in my head like we were meant to be Like i was yours for the world to see Why did you hold my hand Take pictures of me under the moonlight; watched me dance Why did you look me in the eye like you loved me Like your heart was locked up and I was the only one who held the key Why did you thread your fingers into mine Carry me in your arms like i was divine Why did you give me this imaginary hope When your feelings never existed; Though, mine continues to be locked safely inside an envelope.

Imaginary Hope
I grew up watching the life drain out of her eyes I grew up watching her lose her spark bit by bit I grew up watching her sniffle at every word; watching the big fat drops drip like a leaking faucet with no fix I grew up watching her smiles turn fake, watching her jaw clench at his unruly words I grew up listening to her pain, Grew up watching her suffer out loud Not silently underneath pillows but screaming from the couch on the hall I grew up watching this movie This violent, scary movie And I never liked scary movies They made my hands tremble and eyes water But I have been watching this movie for years With the one hope that it'll come to an end one day All movies do, don't they?.
