There once was a girl
who got swept out to sea
with no hope
just some flashlights and a rope
so she tried to paddle and failed
every time she was about to prevail,
she bailed,
and so she sat
on her boat
surrounded by water
and fears
longing to go home
but realizing that
her hope was being washed
away along with the sea foam.
