The night has a room no one enters And you are already there Curled inside the hush In the dark You become the rumor The shape the world has forgotten The sleep you never asked for Leans in like a dim lamp At the end of a long hallway April made you Out of wind and left over silence - Born of two that speak no more Yet you rise from this narrow dream Step into the streets of the city In clothes you chose for yourself ____________________________________
