For a while it stays dark,
For a while it's bright,
For a while I'm at the park,
For a while it feels right,
For a while it stays cold,
For a while it burns,
For a while we grow old,
For a while we were young,
For a while the sky's blue,
For a while it's black,
For a while the birds rest,
For a while they flew.

I wrote this poem while I was thinking that life and everything nothing ever lasts forever and this poem really made me think about how our lives could change very quickly.
