Am I just a father? Who am I to them? A medium in which they came to life A portal to earth, a passage to love I want to be more to them A guiding star, a sheltering sky A safe haven, where they never say goodbye A role model, showing them how to fly A teacher, lighting paths they can't see A best friend, laughing with them wild and free A good listener, hearing what they don't say An observer, watching them shine in their own way I want to be the light that will shine through their dark days Who am I to my kids, who would they remember as when I'm gone? The one who loved them bigger than words can say I want to be even more than all this to them The heartbeat they carry, the roots that make them strong

AM I JUST A FATHER
Am I just a father? Who am I to them? Loving my future kids and God bless all the great fathers
