A medium in which they came to life
A portal to earth, a passage to love
I want to be more to them
A guiding star, a sheltering sky
A safe haven, where they never say goodbye
A role model, showing them how to fly
A teacher, lighting paths they can't see
A best friend, laughing with them wild and free
A good listener, hearing what they don't say
An observer, watching them shine in their own way
I want to be the light that will shine through their dark days
Who am I to my kids, who would they remember as when I'm gone?
The one who loved them bigger than words can say
I want to be even more than all this to them
The heartbeat they carry, the roots that make them strong

How can two hearts that was meant for each other became a war-zone ,
they forgot how it all started
Was it euphoric feelings
Was all those years of pure love just euphoric ,
Am still in shock to see this two lovebirds fight and broke things
I became scared of love
It frightens me
Vividly i could recall how they walked on the road holding each others hands
All the kisses on the wallstreet
All those vacations , picnics
Now what i see each day is war
Screaming out loud, yelling at each other all night, breaking things
This is disaster i said
How can this beautiful love story end with disaster

Today i celebrate myself
I am strong
I am smart
I am fearless
I am unstoppable
I am kind
I celebrate myself
Not because i have it all
But because of how far i have come
I have fallen several times but i rose, became stronger
I have loved and also was disappointed , it makes me emotionally stronger
I have failed but i learnt from failure

We sometimes focus on what we dont have and what we havent achieved,
Forgeting what we already have
We are breathing today and thats something , Alot has been thrown to us and yet we stand firm, we are still here ,
Stronger and better
We might not have rolls Royce
We might have the mansion we crave for
Yet those that have all that are 6ft below, but you are still here

Who do we run to when our leader's or do i say rulers no longer care about us
They promised us "CHANGE"
The word "CHANGE" is flying in the air
Our nation is in total ruin
Cost of living is skyrocketing daily
Food is no more affordable nor is it accessible
Our nation is feeling this devastation
Only politicians are well to do
They have forgotten about us
They have forgotten the promise made to us
They never came any close to fulfilling their mandate
When l look at our politicians extravagant lifestyles I asked
What about US
What about all the time they said they are the answers
In my country ,
Those who care to give or share dont have to give or share
In my country ,
Those who have to give or share, dont want to give or share
The masses are kept in the mood of despondency
It seems to many that all hopes are lost
Some after having their last meal, they wait for death to come
While some take their lives either by jumping off the bridges or taking a highly concentrated chemical down their throat .
Who will redeem our nation
Who will revive our economy
Who do we run to when their is no food in the country
Who do we run to when price of fuel is skyrocketing without control
Who do we run to when rent is no more affordable to the masses
Who do we run to when every good thing in our country can only be accessible to 5% of the country's population
Nigeria is our country
It is not for the politicians to take,
Not for the 5% well to do Nigerians to take
Nigeria is for all of us
We love our country
Thats why we are lamenting
We are tired of being victimised in our own country
It is totally unjust and its affecting everyone either financially, physically, menally psychologically or otherwise
... How do we get our dream Nigeria

I thought I lost it all but at the end I gained even more all because I met a special lady "U"
We might be far away
Distance doesn't necessarily ruin a relationship,
because we don't have to see each other everyday to be in love
It Is true that angels are made to be in heaven but some angels are sent on earth to do a special work and am glad you are my angel

She can't see your eyes light up when u smile,
And she can't even notice how u stop and look at her whenever she passes by
And you can't see me being in love with you,wanting you every minute like you are in love with her,
But you are all I ever wanted
she can't see all of u, all your love and care but I can
