I'd pour my heart out If I knew I wouldn't spill, My hidden thoughts And holy truths, In palms I'm holding still Blank stares On sharpened stones, Vanish overnight Feelings hurt But never wasted, On things that Don't feel right Though my hands may sometimes shake And my grip begins to wear, My secret thoughts are mine alone In a heart I'd never share
