You used to be my muse and i liked to think i was your artist but suddenly you found a new one She's nice she has a pretty face I think shes a couple inches shorter then me and she wears her hair in a ponytail. so i guess I understand why you would trade me for a girl who traces art with graphite pencils

I made this poem after my crush had displayed a drawing his girlfriend had created for him. He told her his favorite animal was sharks. It was a picture of multiple sharks. All different art styles and very clearly traced. I don't hate her, and I'm very happy for him, but I feel less and less important every day. I know I'm not always going to be his #1, and relationships can change friendship dynamics, but she even started sitting where I have been sitting every day, and I guess it just hurts.
