coat gone from the rack, the wall once covered now can breath. the can that blurs and reddens hands, sits sweating crumpled on the ground. tv meal, peeled back exposed, the warmth now gone, cold closing in. dried up mud from leather boots, lodged itself into the floor. the only light sheds from the moon, curtains swept back, forced to bare. a mouse trap claps, a seal of fate. two headlights up the driveway crawl. 3.4.26
