There was a night, not black but blue, Where stars aligned and the clouds were due, The trees swayed where the wind blew, And dust rose up though they were few. There was a night, not black but blue, When Darkness fled under the silver Moon, She shone her light so lovingly, That the children danced, even Me. There was a night not black but blue, The sky was vast and beautiful, The Moon flickered as she blinked at Me, A whole new friend, just for Me.

A Blue Night
There was a night, not black but blue, Where stars aligned and the clouds were due, The trees swayed where the wind blew, And dust rose up though they were few. There was a night, not black but blue, When Darkness fled under the silver Moon, She shone her light so lovingly, That the children danced, even Me. There was a night not black but blue, The sky was vast and beautiful, The Moon flickered as she blinked at Me, A whole new friend, just for Me.
