Passing by in the hallways, Cautious of the world around, Your burning gaze finds mine, And for a fraction of a second, I'm alive Forever a phantom in my peripheral vision Shamelessly defying my vows of peace Pining for a quick brush of an illicit stare Yearning for that forbidden faintest gleam How I loved that sweet sweet haze, That violent flutter in the pits of my stomach, The gasps for air balancing on weakened knees, And caressing your soft cheeks in my dreams

So Long...
