When I was younger My fire burned bright Twenty feet tall A child's delight As I got older My fire dimmed slow A little bit colder But still not that low As I kept aging A candle was left I carried it closely Scared of a theft I became careless Left it alone Thought it'd be fine All on its own When I got back Dark as night The wick was black There was no light
