Soul and Spirit The soul walks, trembles, remembers, falls, breathing inside the body like a fragile flame surviving in the wind of the world. It is flesh that feels, a word that vibrates, a tear that descends. And when the body grows silent, the soul too fades into the quiet of the earth. But the spirit does not. The spirit does not walk, does not speak, does not wander. It is the force that ignites, the hidden engine that holds life upright. When the soul dissolves and the body turns to dust, the spirit returns to its origin, without journey, without sky, without paths to follow. For what truly lives has no need to move: it is eternal, still, pure, like the light that existed before every birth and after every end. Masi Roberto © 2025

Reflection on the true nature of the soul and the spirit — the soul that walks and feels, and the spirit that returns to its origin. Masi Roberto © 2025.
