A little bird, it’s fallen From the tree Lofty branches reaching up so high As far as its eyes Could see Only just now the wind was all It could hear Its singing a lullaby to The little bird’s Ear The tree standing so mightily, where the bird Once sat There looking from above at a world that seemed so small Overseeable And flat Now suddenly seen so up close The tree so tall The little bird, it looks wide eyed And feels So small
