Forever and always Once a silly little promise we made “I promise you forever” We would whisper But sometimes I wondered how long forever was in your eyes Was forever how long I wanted it to be? Was forever a week? A month? A year? How long ml? Tell me how long forever is? Is it screaming I love you from the rooftops at 2am? Is it holding me when I cry at night? Is it telling me everything is gonna be ok? Tell me Tell me How long is forever? Or is forever silenced I love yous Is forever fake care snd forgotten promises? Is forever just a silly word you made up? I wanted real forever Real love Nobody have ever given me that REAL LOVE I wanted it so bad Craved every second and day That when you promise forever you mean forever I wanted the cuddles late at night The quiet coffee dates where I could get lost in your eyes The music playing as we danced around like nobody was watching Like our love was for nobody else except us Cause we were all we need Was forever when you told me I as yours? And only yours? That nobody could be as nice, pretty, amazing as me? That I was irreplaceable And your whole world? And how big was your whole world? Was your whole world the universe and beyond? Or was it a small town nobody knew? I wanted to know princess Tell me how big? Forever also those late calls on the phone? Where I’d nibble food just because you were there Because I fly safe with you looking at me And quiet “you got this” To make me forget it was simply 45 calories? Or did you hate it? Did you despise how long it took? How childish I was? How disgusting I was? Tell me sunshine Did you hate it? Was forever our 11:11 ritual Everytime it struck 11:11 a quick message was sent I’d eye my phone every time it was near Hoping I wouldn’t be forgotten And a message would blind my eyes with happiness Did you enjoy it? Or was it too much effort? Stupid to you? Something you hated having to remember? Tell me em did you enjoy it? Is forever what you want? Do you forever and always want forever? Tell me emi How long?
