Your stare is intense,
Why am I scared to get to know you?
My heart is a fence,
Careful, not just built with broken glue.
Mysteries unlocked,
It’s not the first time I opened up.
Losing loved ones shocked,
Darkened alone to cry like a pup.
Yet something tells me,
I need to let go of the past so.
Run away and flee,
You see me and you already know.
Where should we begin,
Love always therein?
