you can’t say that you’ll be there, you’ll still care and that nothing will change because it does, it did, and it always will. i let you have a piece of me and i left it there with you the you that i knew in my 16th summer but now it’s over and i’m fighting for things that are no longer there- things i didn’t even want to begin with yet i’m reaching, clawing, struggling… you said it would work out but you lied; (i left and it didn’t)
