You had fallen content with talking to the walls I knew when I left, you wouldn't notice at all The moment the door opened I'd forgotten your face The wind blew furiously, disrobing my lace I now stand naked in the cold, a discomfort So comfortable, I no longer feel pain. I am free, unbound, alone, but not afraid

solace in a cold loneliness
You had fallen content with talking to the walls I knew when I left, you wouldn't notice at all The moment the door opened I'd forgotten your face The wind blew furiously, disrobing my lace I now stand naked in the cold, a discomfort So comfortable, I no longer feel pain. I am free, unbound, alone, but not afraid
