War is a concept of the mind
And we might find that humankind
May appear to be so blind, people killed as we blink our eyes
Dying soldiers lost and found
Putting our brothers in the ground
So this is our time to remember
The heroic men that fought to the end or
The ones that died, brave and strong
Forced into battle to end the wrong
They fought for our freedom for so long
They made us feel like we belong
Despite the fact that we may feel
That war is a pseudo-mechanism for peace
We look to the past to change our ways
For future peace in later days
Our armies keep growing
But at the rate we are going
We bear witness to what war is showing
That war never changes.

My school is having a Remembrance Day poem contest, so I wrote this up in about thirty minutes, just thought I'd share.
