Solemnly vowed together but not forever..
We dwell in minds that's long forgotten
but never far away beyond our reach.
Smiling, kissing and living as hypocrites,
Of a promise that was never made.
Staring deep into those eyes,
Searching for a pause
Only to realize you missed that gaze,
That was once yours forever,
But nevermore.
