Tonight I cried, spilling my tears And a stray one fell onto your dress That new dress I bought for you; You had just washed it. And I said sorry. And I’m sorry for saying sorry. On Sunday I was sick. I was worried you did not love me. So I threw up in your toilet And made such a mess. So I said I was sorry. But I’m sorry I said sorry. On Friday you left me. And as you passed me I almost said it again, But I caught myself. Cause that’s why you left. So I’m sorry for saying sorry.
