I stared down at her face Not knowing it was our last embrace I wish I got to say goodbye But when I knew you were already flying high I’m sorry I didn’t see I’m sorry I was blind To notice that it was you dying inside I ran to a different place To escape the memory of your face But nothing can make me forget The hatred and the regret For myself.

And so I ran
I stared down at her face Not knowing it was our last embrace I wish I got to say goodbye But when I knew you were already flying high I’m sorry I didn’t see I’m sorry I was blind To notice that it was you dying inside I ran to a different place To escape the memory of your face But nothing can make me forget The hatred and the regret For myself.
