it's time to play
to remember
and celebrate
something or other
I Just Can't Wait
Walk to the greens
and to the parks
and park at the parks
and pay the meter
and pay the master
of ceremonies
and give a donation
for whatever the hell this holiday is supposed to be about
What was the holiday supposed to be about again?
It's slipping away from the periphery of my memory
Something that everyone can sellabrate together?
No, No there's nothing like that anymore
because absolutely no one will sellabrate both Columbus Day
and Indigenous Peoples Day!! Perish the thought!
And No one will sellabrate both Toyotathon and
Happy Honda Days!! How could you?
No one will sellabrate Veterans Day at all because those guys killed people, nevermind the reasons that they killed the people.
And Memorial Day and the Fourth of July?
They have lost their meaning today in the face of an american people who no longer value the sacrifices that have been made

FOR THE GOOD OF THEIR COUNTRY
AT GREAT PERSONAL RISK

These are the ONLY Holidays I Recognize
New Year's Eve- A Celebration of a Fresh Start
Easter- It's all about the sacrifice of Jesus, Lord and Savior
Memorial Day- Remember those fallen in Our Wars
Fourth of July- A Celebration of our Independence as it continues
Veteran's Day- Remember the guys who served and thank them
Thanksgiving- A great excuse to get together and eat delicious food
Christmas- It's not about gifts, but one gift, the birth of God
These are the Holidays I Recognize
They're the only ones I really Need
