Today, I saw you You looked great That smile never changed I missed it Today, every feeling for you Came back to me I tried to regress, but failed For you were not alone Today, I was graced With your charm And reminded of your intelligence As if I had forgotten Today, you shared so much You don't love her, but You love who I've become Only time will tell Today, we picked up where We left off, nothing's changed Dancing with my heart That has never let go Today, you told me I looked beautiful, and My energy, tangible, I won't forget that Today, I realized We want the same things in life, I hope you did too Now what Today, you kissed me We both wanted more Knowing it wouldn't We didn't Today, I'm back where I was when I said Good-bye for the first time Caught up in emotions & wishful thinking Today, you are on my mind, again.
