I've never felt so lost,
I've never felt so empty
Nothing can find me,
Nothing can fill me.
I stand here cold,
Frozen to my feelings
Numb to everything around me
Senseless to what is.
I hope to be found
So I can find me
I hope to heal
So I can be released.
Nothing is the same
Seeking the norm,
But finding what is lost
Is like trying to find the light

Never had I ever seen
Your eyes shine so bright
The way they did
As you stared into the night sky
It wasn't a reflection of the stars
But a reflection of your love
Your love for the stars
For the universe
Your eyes embody life
A life that is as endless as the sky
They embody peace
The peace you believe our world should be
Your eyes are majestic
Captivating nature as it crosses
They hold so much magic
That makes me feel alive
Your eyes are blue haven
Where I look to for safety
They see so much
More than I can ever see
Your eyes shine so bright, all the time
They are the stars; I made a wish
Your eyes are the universe

Misinterpreted phrases
Hidden messages
Double standards
Meaningful, meaningless words
Tangled in your thoughts
A battle often lost
Of words unspoken
Words. Full of promises, goodbyes, lies
Hurting, healing, loving
Read between the lines
What does that mean
These letters, create words
Words create letters
Letters are exchanged,
Words are interpreted
How, why?
What does this mean
What is this defined
Hope, fear, hate, love

The day you entered Heaven
My heart cracked
Tears shed.
My world shattered.
Since then I've always asked
Why He wanted you
Home so soon
Questions unanswered.
Ever since,
You've never left my mind
My heart won't ever
Be whole again
No one can fix it
It's broken
Till I too, are called Home
He is holding it, us, together
I think about you
Who you'd be
What you'd be like
How gracious, beautiful
I'm left here
With my imagination
Of your being,
You and He are my guide
Angels in the sky

I tried to regress, but failed

With your charm
And reminded of your intelligence
As if I had forgotten

My mind is screaming inside my head
As my heart is shredding beneath my chest
My eyes are crying invisible tears
As my ears are hearing nothing to please
My hope is wandering, lost a midst
As my faith is slowly shattering
My weakness is growing stronger
As my strength is giving in
My peace is trying to find me
As chaos billows around
My pain is gaining pace
As the morphine sets in
My world keeps on falling
As waters keep on rising
My knees are slowly buckling
As I try to stand tall
My body is losing me
