i stare at his body, a broken man at best, his hand on his ears, his knees to his chest, the flowers beneath him, they are beginning to rot, now is my time, to cut them all off, i remember the bad times, as i drive the knife through his back, he eyes fill with thanks, as i put a bullet through my brain, this is the weight, lifted off my gentle shoulders, on to greater horizons, the passing theyll call it, ****** of a much lighter name.
