Each year, my life changes
Seems to get more strange
With the choices that were made for me
And with the ones I made
Life seems like a question
I can’t answer
The more I try
The more I wander
I lost my way
With every step, every turn
With nothing to say
Nothing to expect in return
The things I loved
And the things I did
The way I looked
And the way I felt
And now I’m trying to find my way back
But I can’t find the track
To what made me happy
And to what made me me
I’ve lost it all
Once again
With nobody to call
While I lay here in pain
I hope someday I can find my way back
And then I will finally unpack
Into arms that feel like home
And love that feels like known
