I'm torn in so many directions Stretched so far, my skin's tearing at the seams With a thread and a needle I slowly sew myself back But like a mirror with a crack, I can never be the same again I've been quartered and skinned With lungs blackened by sin Drug through the dust by those better than me Nails left jagged by the scratches Trying to claw my way out of the hole you left me in To fend for myself from the lions and men Nothing to do or hold on to as I try to get out Falling further than I ever could climb
